Dutch-born Rick Stotijn is one of the top international double bass players. The virtuoso soloist will interpret an Italian suite from Stravinsky's ballet in Kokkola. Italian influences are also strongly present in Mozart's lively tunes and Tchaikovsky's luminous string orchestra classic. The autumn season opens with the orchestra's artistic director Malin Broman.
