The cult hit by John Adams, ‘Shaker Loops’ is followed by the epic chamber symphony by Dmitri Shostakovich, who died 50 years ago. The concert is conducted by Dima Slobodeniouk, who has worked on stages around the world. Charming violinist Hugo Ticciati interprets the new violin concerto by the Lithuanian-born Žibuoklė Martinaitytė.
