The Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra has - as a gift for Kokkola, which celebrated its 400-jubilee in year 2020 - arranged composing workshops at the Mäntykangas School. 
There the pupils in classes 5 and 6 have been composing, orchestrating and notating unded instruction of professional composers Sanna Ahvenjärvi and Tapio Lappalainen. The coordinator of the project, Niina Hannula, has also been actively instructing and helping out the pupils.

The result of this project is presented on Friday 19th of March at 7 pm (EET) on the OCO's YouTube channel!
