In the year 1972 violin teacher Juha Kangas returned from Helsinki to his home area and founded a chamber orchestra among his pupils at the Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory. Here the story of the later professional, world-famous Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra began. In the year 2022 the OCO celebrates its 50th year anniversary with concerts, recordings, world premiers, merchandise and reminiscense. Welcome to celebrate with us!
