Now recruiting: Solo viola

We have an open position for Principal viola (solo viola)

The audition will take place on Sunday the 14th of May 2023 at 10 am at Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory of Music, Pitkänsillankatu 16, Kokkola, Finland.

Repertoire
1. Franz Anton Hoffmeister or Carl Stamitz: Viola Concertos, 1. & 2. movements with Cadenzas
2. Paul Hindemith: Schwanendreher or Béla Bartók or William Walton: Viola Concerto, 1st movement and two movements of J.S.Bach solo works.
3. Orchestra- and chamber music excerpts which can be requested from the orchestra office from 14.4. onwards (emilia.otava@kamariorkesteri.fi)

Applications
Closing date for applications: Thursday 28th of April 2023 at 4 pm.
The position will be filled from 1st of September 2023 or by arrangement.

Applications to be sent to marjukka.puutio@kamariorkesteri.fi. Applications should include a short CV with contact information. Applicants must also mention the concerto of his/her choice. An accompanist will be provided by the orchestra if needed. Please mention this in your application.
