Concerts for April and May now published

The last concerts for Spring season 2021 are now published on the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra's web site. The programme consists of chamber music,guest performances by big names and recordings - not to forget the audience outreach.

As for now, an audience of 20 persons is allowed in the Central Ostrobothnia area, everything according to the regional Covid-19 restrictions. The Concerts from the Snellman Hall in Kokkola are also broadcasted live as live streams via the Orchestra's YouTube Channel. Please check the website or the local newspapers for the dates of when Ticket sales starts for each Concert individually: www.kamariorkesteri.fi.

The Concerts for April-May are: Kokkola Quartet on Friday 16th of April, where the new line-up of the Quartet (Reetta Kataja, Reijo Tunkkari, Hanna Pakkala and Lauri Pulakka) continue to perform chamber music from different centuries, Oramo & Mustonen on Thursday 29th of April, where conductor Sakari Oramo and pianist Olli Mustonen perform together with the OCO and Stockholm Diary on Saturday 8th of May, where Artistic Director Malin Broman and the OCO treat the audience on the repertoire of their upcoming recording session. 

The OCO will also be recording music by Hans Gál together with conductor Jan Söderblom. The Orchestra also continue to do Audience outreach programmes in the national Arts testers project and other concerts for young listeners, everything according to current Covid-19 restrictions. 

In addition, every Concert stream starts with a pre-concert talk (Concert Intro), where Kirsti Rasehorn interviews each concert's artists.
