The programme for this concert will frequent the delicate emotional register, proceeding from Samuel Barber’s Adagio and the anguished Passione Symphony by Joseph Haydn to the more tender tones of Iiro Rantala and ending with the brilliance of W.A. Mozart. Wielding the baton will be English pianist-conductor Simon Crawford-Philips now well established in Sweden. Piano lovers can look forward to a real treat as both Rantala and Crawford-Phillips take the stage.
