Cecilia Damström, among the most prominent young composers in our country, is known for her poignant compositions and now her accordion concerto, 'Permafrost,' will receive its world premiere interpreted by Sonja Vertanen. Under the direction of conductor Jan Söderblom, the concert will also feature Bach's beloved Orchestral Suite No 3 in a string version - including the renowned 'Air' - and Ukrainian-born Reinhold Glière's late Romantic octet from 1902.
