Founder of the Chamber Music Week, composer Pehr Henrik Nordgren, would have turned 80 on the day of the concert. The jubilee concert opening the week features music by P.H. and his friend Kalevi Aho, performed by pianist Kirill Kozlovski alongside P.H.’s longtime collaborators, the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra and conductor Juha Kangas.
