The OCO under Antti Tikkanen (familiar, among other things, as the leader of the Meta4 quartet) will be taking part in the Katedraali soi festival in Turku Cathedral. Premiering the new Chorales by Mikko Heiniö will be two front-line Finnish artists, Eija Kankaanranta (kantele) and Kristian Lindroos (baritone). Acting as the curtain raiser is a staple work in the OCO repertoire, Handel’s Concerto grosso in B-flat major, Op. 6 No. 7.
