The extensive collaboration between OCO and Kokkola Winter Accordion continues: the Finnish accordion repertoire is expanded with a new work by Sampo Kasurinen, interpreted by accordionist Harri Kuusijärvi.
The second half of the concert offers the rich and virtuosic Symphonic Serenade by Erich Korngold – a pioneer in Hollywood film scores. The programme is led by the Emma Award–winning conductor Tomas Djupsjöbacka.
