The OCO’s own leader, Reetta Kataja, takes the stage with Artistic Director Malin Broman as the soloists in Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante. Paired with this will be some brand-new works for string orchestra by Sweden’s Mats Larsson and Finland’s Sebastian Fagerlund. The concert will culminate with the fourth String Quartet by Polish violinist-composer Grażyna Bacewicz in an arrangement made especially for the OCO.
