Due to illness this concert will not be conducted by Jaakko Kuusisto. Concertmaster Reijo Tunkkari will lead the concert.

The soloist in both the KPO guest concert and the traditional Kokkola Christmas concert will be one of Finland’s most sought-after baritones, Aarne Pelkonen, in a programme of Finland’s best-loved Christmas carols. Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, by now a tradition, will crown this concert rich in atmosphere in Kokkola Church.
