Italian violinist Lorenza Borrani, leader of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, is coming back to Kokkola, joining the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra for a performance in an arrangement by Bruno Maderna of works by Ottaviano Petrucci published in the 16th century. Crowning the concert, which will also include some contemporary music by Norway’s Agnes Ida Pettersen, will be a profoundly moving classic, Schubert’s Death and the Maiden string quartet.
