On the date of this concert, 12 November 2022, it will be exactly 50 years since the chamber orchestra of the Central Ostrobothnian Music Institute gave its first concert. We celebrate this with the orchestra’s founder and Honorary Conductor Juha Kangas. Naturally the programme includes music closest to the orchestra’s heart: Baroque, Mozart, Nordgren and new Baltic works. As our soloist we welcome the OCO’s former leader Jari Valo, now occupying the corresponding seat in the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
